109' Aerial

HME offers a full line of dependable aerials backed by unparalleled customer service. Manufactured and tested to meet or exceed NFPA 1901 standards each aerial is structurally inspected and certified by Underwriters Laboratories. Whether your need is for a 60’ stick or a 104’ platform you can count on HME to provide a product you can fly.
Leading the industry, the HME Ahrens-Fox® stainless steel apparatus body allows for configurations of side or center hose loads, 500 gallons of water and huge compartments. Special attention to rear body overhangs in our design makes for a truck that can fully utilize the 45 degree cramp angle.

Simple Operation:
•From a -5 degree angle down to a 75 degree angle up, the aerial is under constant monitoring with alarms that sound should you exceed the rated load.
•One latching handle to change monitor position. No pins, no plugs, no reels.
•Radio remote control allows aerial and nozzle control on the fire ground.
Superb performance:
•500 pound tip load while flowing 1000 GPM to each side.
•Soft touch controls available that automatically ramp and slow down on extension/retraction and elevation, bedding the aerial and fully lowering the ladder to minus 5 degrees.
•Envelope control is available to avoid aerial contact with the cab.

"Prospective Customers :
The City of Stamford, Connecticut has entered into an agreement with HME Corporation to purchase fire apparatus. The city has purchased six rescue style engines recently . While we are awaiting the delivery of three units this spring there are three units in service now.

This fire organization is pleased with the quality of the dealer involvement, expertise, and attention to detail we have received and continue to receive from Joe Birarelli, Pete Schaumberg and Robert Lyman . Together we feel that there is a true partnership between HME, Twin-Lights and the City of Stamford.

There has been total satisfaction with the products and service provided by these two fine organizations and I recommend their products and services highly. "
